REQUEST FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT CONCERNING PROPOSED EXEMPT AND NON-EXEMPT AMENDMENTS TO THE 2024-2027 INDIANAPOLIS REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (IRTIP) AND ADOPTION OF THE CIRCLE 2050 METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLAN

Notice is hereby given that at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4 2024, the Indianapolis Transportation Policy Committee will conduct a public hearing on Resolution Number 24-IMPO-025 considering the proposed adoption of the CIRCLE 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan.

Notice is hereby given that proposed exempt and non-exempt amendments to the 2024-2027 IRTIP are being offered for public review and comment between November 22 and December 3, 2024. Public comments on these items may be sent in writing to info@indympo.gov or by mail to 200 East Washington Street, Suite 2322, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204

Notice is hereby given that at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Indianapolis Transportation Policy Committee will conduct a public hearing on Resolution Number 24-IMPO-027 considering proposed non-exempt amendments to the 2024-2027 IRTIP.

All hearing will be held at Hornet Park Community Center located at 5245 Hornet Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107. Members of the public may make comments in person or send comments in advance by December 3, 2024 at 2PM to info@indympo.gov. At least one week before the public hearing copies of the items above and all plans and exhibits pertaining thereto will be available on the IMPO’s website at https://indympo.gov, or for viewing in-person, by appointment, in Room 2322 of the City-County Building, 200 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please call 317-327-7587 to arrange a time for in-person viewing of materials, as some staff are working remotely. Written objection to a proposal may be filed with the IMPO, before the December 4, 2024 meeting, at the address above (by appointment), or sent to info@indympo.gov, and such objections will be considered. Public hearings may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.

The public participation process described above is used to satisfy the public participation process for the Program of Projects (POP) for the following Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grantee: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo).

The public participation process described above is consistent with the policies and procedures for public involvement that have been formally adopted by CIRTA, and meets all applicable public participation requirements pertaining to grants associated with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
